Accommodations will be either a guest room(s) at the home of Executive Director Justin Spring, his wife Rebecca, and their son Gage or wall tent/river camp depending on activities the buyer is interested in during their stay. Food: The Springs will provide meals for all your adventures whether it’s a riverside gourmet dinner casting to rising trout, a grilled fresh catch lunch on flathead lake, or a hearty wild game chicken fried steak breakfast before heading out for a day hiking and picking huckleberries, the food will not disappoint. The Springs live 30 minutes west of Missoula, MT so the buyer will arrive into the Missoula Airport where your hosts will meet you and transport you back to their house. A vehicle will be available for the buyers use if they wish to explore the area on their own. Glacier National Park is approximately 3 hours, the National Bison Range is 1 hour, and they live surrounded by Lolo National Forest in Cyr, MT which is the put in for the Alberton Gorge, some of the best whitewater rafting in the state. Flathead Lake is 2 hours north and the Springs would gladly schedule a day or two on the lake with their 20 foot covered Hewescraft boat on the lake. You can hike the primitive Wildhorse Island State Park and view the sheep herd that produced the current Boone and Crockett World Record Bighorn Sheep, or depending on the bite, borrow some tackle and try your hand at jigging for whitefish and lake trout.
Missoula was the setting for a “River Runs Through It” so fly fishing opportunities abound in all directions. Whether you prefer to wade a small mountain stream, cast to brookies in a high mountain lake, or float one of the famous rivers all converging in town, your hosts will ensure a one of a kind adventure is only a healthy bid away! The possibilities are endless so let’s create a summer getaway of your dreams.

All sales are final. No returns will be accepted. Winning bidder authorizes The Pope And Young Club (P&Y) to charge their credit card for the full amount of the winning bid upon close of the auction. Payments will not be accepted from any third parties outside of a successful qualified bidder nor may the responsibility for any transaction be transferred to a third party. Bidders paying with a credit card will be charged a 3% administration fee. A buyer’s premium of 5% will be added to the final bid price of each item sold online.

Live Auction Rules
Auctioneer and staff will decide any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction.
Donors are not allowed to bid on their own donations nor have any agent bid on their behalf. If the Auctioneer recognizes such bidding or is advised of the same he may withdraw any or all items donated by the offender.
Some of the items on the donated hunts may not be included unless specified:
A. Travel expenses to and from destination
B. Hotel and meals before and after the hunt and/or trip
C. Licenses, tags or permits.
D. Trophy dipping, packaging and shipping.
E. Alcoholic Beverages
F. Gratuities
Most hunts, unless otherwise noted, are for the upcoming season. . Special arrangements other than as set forth on the auction list are expressly between the donor and yourself.
Some non-hunt donations will require delivery at your expense. Any firearms that may be included in the auction are subject to all state and federal laws. Transactions for these items will be handled by an approved FFL provider. The FFL provider information will be sent to the winning bidder for completion of transfer.
Payment for auction items may be deductible as business expenses but are not deductible as charitable donations for Federal Income Tax purposes. Please consult your tax advisor and the IRS for more information.
Disclaimer of Liability
Goods:
All goods in the live auction, silent auction and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by P&Y and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, ammunition, or other items, to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auction are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of P&Y. P&Y makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. P&Y does not accept any responsibility or liability for any design or use. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and adhere to any pertaining FFL regulations.
Services:
All services, hunts or otherwise, in the live auction, silent auction and raffles have been acquired from and are supplied by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by P&Y. P&Y shall bear no responsibility for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damage arising from or related to or connected with the performance or nonperformance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, P&Y cannot be responsible or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the confines of the United States, nor can P&Y be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. The high bidder further acknowledges that his purchase is final and nonrefundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for these services acquired by the high bidder at the auction, P&Y shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, costs of court, and interest as provided by law.
P&Y is not responsible for any delays or difficulties in bidding related to internet connectivity, server or any hardware or internet related issues.
A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of each item sold online.
